General Order Questions:

How do I place an order?

Please use our online portal to create an online profile and account and check out online.

What is the easiest way to place an order?

DGS prefers that orders are placed through our online portal as this is the safest way to protect your credit card information.

Can I cancel my order?

Yes. If your order requires staining or printing, you can cancel your order at any time as long as nothing has been stained or printed. Please call 1800-211-9646.

Can I return my order?

Can I get a stain sample of your finishes?

Yes, please e mail Ali Roberts (aliroberts@dgsretail.com) the stains you like and your mailing address and we can put them in the mail for you.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

We handle discounts based on volume, so depending on what you are looking to purchase and the quantity, we can see if your order would qualify for a volume discount.

I am working on a Marshalls/TJMaxx/Homegoods store and need a quote/pricing and to follow up on an order I placed, who should I contact?

Do you offer install services?

We do not, but we can refer you to a reputable installer if needed.

Can you send me a sample?

If you plan to place an order in high volume, DGS would be happy to send you a sample if you can provide us with a Fed Ex or UPS account we can use to ship the sample.

Can you e mail me a copy of my invoice?

Yes, please e mail aliroberts@dgsretail.com with your order # and ask for an invoice on your order.

Where do you ship from?

We are located in Chicago.

Has my order shipped?

If you placed an order on our website, DGS will e-mail you tracking information for your order the day after your order ships. If you have not received tracking, your order has not shipped.

I need a freight estimate prior to placing my order, who should I contact?

Please e-mail Ali Roberts (aliroberts@dgsretail.com) and include what you are looking to order, the quantity and the shipping address and we will get a freight quote started for you. Freight estimates take 24-48 hours to generate.

Why isn’t freight estimated on your website?

DGS carries a vast array of products ranging from small gripper sign holders to large island and wall unit displays. We estimate the shipping on an order by order basis and consolidate to ship most economically.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we can ship anywhere in the world. If you require a freight estimate, please contact us. International freight takes about a week to estimate.

Hanging Aisle Directory Signs:

What is the process for placing an aisle marker or hanging aisle directory order?

Please place an order online and within 24-48 hours, you will be sent an insert order form. You fill this form out indicating what the inserts need to say and any color or font requirements. DGS will pull a proof for your approval. We include one round of changes in our pricing. Anything beyond one round of changes is subject to a $75 fee for a new proof.

How do I customize my inserts/aisle markers/ hanging aisle directories? How do I add my stores logo?

In terms of customization, the inserts can say anything you need them to say. You can also customize the colors and font. Since the inserts are digitally printed, DGS can match any color you would need. After you place an order online a DGS Rep will reach out to you within 24-48 hours with an order confirmation, insert order form and instructions on how to fill out the sheet. DGS will also pull a proof for you approval prior to production.

Can I bypass filling out the insert order form and e mail you my list?

We need for you to fill out the insert order form. We unfortunately cannot fill it in for you. This is our company policy. We do not like filling out the form for customers because in the past, we have made wrong assumptions on what our customers need and made costly mistakes. We also need the form to help move your order through to production and expedite the proofing process.

Is there a limit to the amount of characters I can use on the inserts?

No, please note that the more characters used, the smaller the font.

How long until I can see a proof?

A DGS rep will e mail you a proof for your approval about 24-48 hours after the insert order form has been submitted.

What is the lead time for aisle markers and hanging aisle directories?

The standard lead time is 2 weeks from the time we have an approved proof. If you are purchasing the aisle markers without inserts, we can usually ship within 2-3 business days.

Can I purchase the aisle markers without the inserts?

Yes, please place your order online and indicate in the order comments that you do not need the inserts and we will ship to you.

How wide are the brackets and what shelving are they compatible with?

The mounting brackets will fit on a shelving unit that is about 2.5in thick. We guarantee that the brackets will fit on Madix and Lozier brand shelves.

Gondola Shelving Island and Wall Units:

What is the lead time for wall and island units?

Depending on the size of the order, DGS can usually stain and ship within a week or two.

Can I order more shelves/bins at a later time?

Yes, please order online or call 1800-211-9646 to place an order.

Do the units ship fully assembled?

No, they are shipped on pallets and assembly is required. Instruction sheets will be provided.

Why is freight on my wall and island unit so high?

Wall and island orders are shipped on pallets and freight is handled as a standard dock delivery. If you do not have a working shipping dock or the resources available to get the pallet(s) off the truck, DGS will need to charge for lift gate services or an inside delivery.

Can you quote on a different configuration of shelves and bins other than what is on your website?

Yes, we can. You would need to tell us whether you are interested in a wall (84”T) or island unit (54”T), the length (in 4’ increments), the amount and size of shelves, type of shelf, number of bin sets required and number of aisle markers required. Please send these requests to aliroberts@dgsretail.com

Can you order a different height/width unit?

Yes, we would have to custom quote unit heights other than 54" and 84". Please note that we only stock 54”T and 84”T uprights in 48” width. If you need a different size than what we stock, please tell us whether you are interested in a wall or island unit, the height requirements, the width requirements, the amount and size of shelves, type of shelf, number of bin sets required and number of aisle markers required. Please send these requests to aliroberts@dgsretail.com Please also note that the lead time for custom sizes increases from 1-2 week to about 6 weeks or more.

What size shelves do you offer?

For the wood slatted bakery shelves, we offer a 12”x48” shelf and a 16”x48” shelf. For the metal shelves we offer a 14”x48”, a 18”x48” and 20”x48”. We also stock 18"x36" shelves for end cap units.

What size bases do you offer?

We stock a 20"Dx48W", 14D"x36D", and 20D"x36W" base.

Can I order non stocked sizes?

Yes, however, the lead time increases to about 6-8 weeks from 1-2 weeks if you go with stocked sizes.

What are the dimensions of the bin sets and how many wine bottles can they hold?

Overall size is 8"x18"x9", Internal compartments each measuring 14" front-to-back x 11" wide x 8" tall. Overall capacity of 36 bottles (750 mL bottles that are 11in tall)

Can the dimensions of the wood bin sets be adjusted?

No, they are fixed dimensions.

Are the shelves and bin sets removable and can they be arranged in a different configuration than shown on the website?

Yes, all of the accessory items are removable and can be adjusted to meet your requirements on the metal uprights.

What is the lead time?

If you order has wood trim and requires staining, the lead time is 1 week. If you are ordering the metal table without trim, we can usually ship next day pending inventory levels.

What is the lead time?

If staining is required, the lead time is about 1 week. If we are shipping raw we can usually ship next day pending inventory levels.
